The high-profile Rupert and Wendi Murdoch divorce — currently slated to be settled out-of-court — caught the attention of New York Times writer Paul Sullivan, who used the case to discuss lessons that could be learned from how they’re proceeding.
The article, which appeared in this past Saturday’s edition, featured Collaborative Law Institute of Texas board member Tracy Stewart, who drew upon her experience as a financial neutral in collaborative divorces to talk about the process.
Sullivan notes in the introduction to his article, “There are at least four areas in the Murdoch divorce that other affluent people need to consider if they find themselves served with divorce papers.” Stewart contributes to a well-written article that develops the key points that divorcing couples should consider — all points that can be addressed effectively and consistently in the collaborative process.
