TOPIC: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and the Problem of Unconscious Bias
DESCRIPTION: Unconscious bias is part of the human condition, and even the best-intentioned people have biases. Successful Collaborative Practice requires an awareness of the ways in which unconscious bias affects our work and our ability to broaden our reach in diverse communities. This Zoom workshop will focus on stereotyping, microaggressions, and the concrete steps that we can all take to reduce unconscious bias and its impact on our work
Enrollment will be limited to 48 participants (so that everyone can fit on one Zoom screen)
and will include small group discussions and a variety of experiential exercises.
