The “I Made a Difference” campaign was a huge success this year at the annual Collaborative Law Conference. This campaign asks members of Collaborative Divorce Texas to donate 1 billable hour to CDT to enable us to continue our public education efforts. Over 90 members and attendees have participated thus far and raised over $30,000.00. The 90+ contributors represented over 50% of those who were in attendance at the conference who donated approximately 1 billable hour to CDT: a donation that represents a clear commitment to supporting the mission of Collaborative Divorce Texas. Money raised will go toward our highly successful statewide education campaign about Collaborative Divorce. Many of the participating members were part of a video explaining why they gave. There is still time to donate. Collaborative Divorce Texas has over 300 members. This year’s campaign averaged $335.00 per donation. If all 300+ members gave 1 hour to CDT it would raise over $100,000.00 to help spread the word about a better way to untie the knot using the collaborative divorce process.
